Sleek chest of drawers island

Wood and glass are the stars of the show in Areia, an elegant chest of drawers island designed by David Lopez Quincoces. Clean design is at the heart of the model, whose simple lines are complemented by the combination of metal tubing, glass and Canaletto walnut: the exposed metal tubing structure sets out the horizontal flow of the model, supporting the glass shelves and the suspended drawers, which - like the base - are made from Canaletto walnut.

Accentuating Areia’s sleek character are the extra-light glass shelves, which break up the piece and soften its appearance, adding a sense of space to the environment around it.
